As webinars are a combination of video & audio being played or streamed live on your computer, you can always utilize good screen recording software to record these events & save them to your computer memory for future use & reference. The process to record a live webinar includes the following steps:

  1. Firstly, you need to download and install a screen recorder tool on your computer and then launch it.

  1. After that you need to set the recording frame around the area you want to be recorded or use the frame presets available. You can also switch to full-screen mode if you want to capture high-quality visual content. Make sure to turn on the system audio on your PC and turn the microphone off to avoid recording any unwanted noises.

  1. After the frame is set, you need to wait for the webinar to start and when it does, you need to click on the ‘REC’ button to begin the recording process. You can also pause and resume the video capturing when there is some unwanted clip that need not be recorded.

  1. When the live seminar is complete, you can click on ‘Stop’ to end the recording process. All these operations can also be performed using keyboard shortcuts listed in the software guide.

  1. Then you can save the video in the desired output folder on your Windows or Mac computer.

  1. If you want to trim unwanted clips or you wish to convert the video format, you can use the same software tool. For trimming, you will need to click on the ‘scissors’ option and then click on ‘Save as’ to change the file format of output file.
